Trial attorneys Stephen Higdon, Michael Fechner honored by Texas Rising Stars

Plaintiffs personal injury attorneys Stephen Higdon and Michael Fechner of the trial firm Lyons & Simmons LLP have again been honored among the top young attorneys in the state.

Higdon and Fechner were recognized in the prestigious Texas Rising Stars legal guide based on their extensive experience handling a wide range of catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases in courts throughout the country.

Higdon, a partner at Lyons & Simmons, LLP, has also earned other prestigious honors including Lawdragon 500 Leading Consumer Plaintiff Lawyers, Best Lawyers in America’s Ones to Watch, and D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40. He is a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Dallas Trial Lawyers Association, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and the Association of Former Law Clerks of the Eastern District of Texas.

Fechner’s work has been recognized by his selection to Lawdragon 500 X – The Next Generation and Best Lawyers in America’s Ones to Watch. He is a member of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Dallas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. Fechner also serves as an integral part of BridgeBuilders, a non-profit organization serving South Dallas residents.

This marks the sixth consecutive year Higdon has been selected to the Texas Rising Stars peer-reviewed legal guide and the second for Fechner. Rising Stars recognizes the best Texas lawyers under the age of 40 or who have been in practice less than 10 years, with only 2.5% of eligible attorneys selected each year.
