As families across North Texas prepare for the upcoming school year, Lyons & Simmons is proud to support Community Partners of Dallas in making sure every child starts the year with the tools they need to succeed. Through our sponsorship of CPD’s annual Back-to-School Drive, our team is helping provide backpacks, school supplies, and clothing essentials to thousands of children served by Child Protective Services.

Back-to-school season should be filled with excitement, not anxiety. But for many children in our community, the start of school can bring added stress—especially when they don’t have the basics. That’s why we believe in the mission of Community Partners of Dallas and are honored to stand with them in ensuring every child has a strong start.

“Our firm is committed to protecting and uplifting those who need it most,” said Lyons & Simmons co-founding partner Michael Lyons. “Supporting students in need not only gives them the confidence to walk into the classroom with their heads held high—it lays the foundation for a brighter future.”

This year’s drive provides over 3,500 children with everything from backpacks and notebooks to new uniforms and sneakers. “Lyons & Simmons team members were honored to volunteer at the drive, packing supplies for students receiving backpacks,” said co-founding partner Chris Simmons.
