Lyons & Simmons has again been recognized in the Chambers Texas Spotlight Guide, earning inclusion in the 2026 rankings and marking the firm’s second consecutive appearance since personal injury litigation firms became eligible for consideration.
Lyons & Simmins is one of only four personal injury firms in Dallas highlighted in the guide and one of just 12 firms statewide recognized in the practice area. Overall, the 2026 Chambers Spotlight Texas Guide recognizes 251 law firms across 33 practice areas in 18 cities throughout Texas.
“Chambers is known for its rigorous, independent research,” said firm co-founder Michael P. Lyons. “Being recognized reflects the quality of our trial work and, more importantly, the trust our clients place in us when the stakes are at their highest.”
Lyons & Simmons has built a national reputation for securing significant results in complex, high-exposure personal injury and wrongful death litigation. Since 2023, the firm has obtained more than $1 billion in verdicts and settlements on behalf of clients. Among those results was one of the largest jury verdicts in Texas in 2025, when Lyons & Simmons attorneys secured a $109.5 million verdict in a catastrophic personal injury case arising from a preventable natural gas explosion. Following a two-week trial, jurors found CPS Energy 100% responsible for a 2021 home explosion that left two people with severe injuries.
The Chambers Spotlight Guide highlights leading small and mid-sized law firms through a regional research process that evaluates a firm’s experience, expertise, and talent in specific practice areas and jurisdictions. Selection is based on independent market analysis and in-depth research conducted by Chambers editors and analysts.
