Firm co-founder Michael Lyons selected among Top 100 DFW lawyers
Michael Lyons, Christopher Simmons and Christopher Carr of the award-winning trial firm Lyons & Simmons have been honored among the state’s top plaintiffs’ personal injury trial attorneys for 2024 by Texas Super Lawyers.
This is Lyons’ 12th plaintiffs’ personal injury recognition. The firm’s co-founder earned additional recognition among the Top 100 Lawyers in Dallas-Fort Worth for a seventh consecutive year. Lyons has also previously been recognized as a Top 100 Lawyer in Texas, regardless of practice focus.
With a reputation for obtaining trial verdicts in some of the biggest cases in the country, Lyons’ tenacious approach to plaintiffs' personal injury trial practice has been consistently recognized by The Best Lawyers in America and D Magazine. In 2020, The National Law Journal recognized Lyons as a “Trailblazer” and one of the top 52 plaintiffs’ attorneys nationwide who were “agents of change.” In 2024, he was recognized among the Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, an honor reserved for the top 500 attorneys in the country.
This is Simmons’ third Super Lawyers selection. The firm co-founder previously was recognized on the companion Rising Stars list of the state’s top up-and-coming attorneys for eight consecutive years. A member of the Million Dollar and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forums, his work has also earned recognition from The National Law Journal, The Best Lawyers in America, Lawdragon and D Magazine.
The 2024 selection is the 15th for Carr. He has represented clients through the trial or resolution of hundreds of cases involving, in the aggregate, hundreds of millions of dollars in alleged damages and has appeared as lead counsel in courts located in more than 20 states. In addition to his Super Lawyers honors, Carr has been recognized among the Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers.
