Stephen Higdon Honored by Southwestern University

Partner Stephen Higdon has been selected to the 2025 class of outstanding alumni under the age of 40 by his alma mater, Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. Each year the university highlights the accomplishments of 18 graduates who are already making significant contributions to their professions and communities. The group was recognized at the Distinguished Alumni Awards Dinner on May 3.

This is just the latest recognition for Stephen, who was part of the record-setting trial team at Lyons & Simmons that received the prestigious 2021 John Howie Award from the Dallas Trial Lawyers Association. His other professional honors include being named one of the 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers by Lawdragon (2023-2025), Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers – Texas Rising Stars (2019-2025), Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch (2021-2025), and D Magazine’s Best Lawyers Under 40 (2020, 2022-2025).
