Dallas trial lawyer earns statewide Top 100 recognition for fourth time
Lyons & Simmons, LLP partner Michael P. Lyons has been named among the Top 100 attorneys in Texas in the 2026 edition of Texas Super Lawyers, marking his fourth selection to the statewide list.
Lyons previously earned Top 100 Texas Super Lawyers recognition in 2021, 2022 and 2025. He also was selected to the 2026 Top 100 Dallas-Fort Worth Super Lawyers list, extending a streak of DFW Top 100 honors that began in 2018.
The Top 100 distinction is an additional honor reserved for attorneys who receive the highest point totals during the Super Lawyers selection process. Super Lawyers uses a multiphase selection methodology that incorporates peer nominations, independent research and peer evaluations.
Lyons was also selected to the 2026 Texas Super Lawyers list for his work in plaintiffs’ personal injury litigation. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers every year since 2013, following multiple selections to the publication’s Rising Stars list earlier in his career.
The latest honor adds to a significant year of recognition for Lyons and the firm. In 2026, Lyons was elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), an invitation-only national organization of experienced trial lawyers and judges. The firm was also named the #1 Personal Injury Law Firm in Dallas in Texas Lawyer’s “Best Of” 2026 awards and received the 2026 Elite Trial Lawyers Award for Catastrophic Injury by The National Law Journal.
Together, the honors reflect continued recognition of both Lyons’ individual trial practice and the firm.
