Lyons & Simmons is proud to announce that Managing Partner Michael P. Lyons has been elected to membership in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), one of the nation's most respected organizations of experienced trial lawyers and judges. Mr. Lyons was elected during the National Board Meeting held in Detroit, Michigan, on July 11, 2026.
Membership in ABOTA is by invitation only and is extended to trial lawyers who have demonstrated substantial jury trial experience, professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to preserving the constitutional right to trial by jury.
Throughout his career, Lyons has dedicated his practice to representing individuals and families whose lives have been forever changed by catastrophic injury and wrongful death. His courtroom experience and record of significant jury verdicts reflect the principles that ABOTA was founded to promote—ethical advocacy, civility, and excellence in trial practice.
